British Embassy in Phnom Penh will officially launch Cambodia’s first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) children’s book entitled, “Sky Pods in Phnom Penh” on Tuesday next week.
According the embassy’s media advisory, British Ambassador H.E. Bill Longhurst; Dr. Bryony Mathew, Author of the book and Deputy Ambassador; Mr. Sothik Hok, Director of Sipar; and a senior representative from the Education Ministry will join the event.
The launching ceremony will take place at the Sipar Mobile Library intervention site in Romduol Tbong village, Sangkat Snor, Khan Posenchey, Phnom Penh, it pointed out.
“Sky Pods in Phnom Penh” aims to inspire a new generation of Cambodians to engage with and flourish in STEM subjects. This colourful book features a nice story about a successful girl who becomes an engineer.
