Council for Development of Cambodia was quoted by Rasmei Kampuchea Daily that UK announced its investment in Cambodian USD 2.22 billion.
According to the report, the detail of the UK’s promised investment plan was not yet reveal.
This make total investment projects in country during 7 month of the year increased up to USD5.5 billion increased from USD 1.37 billion in the same period in previous year, the paper said
In the first seven months of the year, England is the largest investor with the promised investment of USD 2.22 billion, followed by the domestic investor of USD 1.29 billion and Chinese with USD 1.13 billion.
There were75 investment projects approved, including 60 industrial projects about USD 2.6 billion, 4 tourism project with USD 2.44 billion, and other 11 projects on agriculture, rubber, telecommunication and services with USD 460 million.
